Cheers,

Rensselaer’s Design, Innovation and Society program is recruiting a tenure-track assistant professor who could teach in the areas of equitable design, sustainability and design, design justice, collaborative or participatory design, product design, industrial design, or object design. The person hired for this position will conduct research at the intersection of design and STS theory and practice.

Please apply by January 10, 2025. We are seeking to interview individuals starting in late January/early February. We *also* have a lecturer ad for this program, as we are hiring both for a tenure-track line and a teaching-track line.

I invite any questions you might have—and we can use all the help we can get spreading the word. I’d be grateful for any thoughts you have about other societies or individuals.

Best regards,

Nancy
